Coating mechanism
The coating mechanism, also known as the coating head, is composed of a reclaiming roller, a coating roller and a coating disc. This form of composition is usually called two roller type. The function of the reclaiming roller is to dip the paint from the paint pan and transfer the paint to the coating roller, which applies the paint to the surface of the coil. Each rotating roller is attached with an adjusting device, which can adjust the gap and pressure between the rotating rollers in order to obtain the required coating amount. When the machine stops and the coil joint passes through, the coating roller on the front can be automatically out of contact with the coil through the automatic adjustment device to protect the coating roller from damage.
The difference between the three roll coating head and the two roll coating head is that an adjusting roll is added. By adjusting the gap between the adjusting roll and the reclaiming roll, the wet film thickness can be adjusted.
Roller coaters with high production speed are often equipped with two coating heads. As shown in the right figure, two coating heads are set on the front of the coil. The purpose of setting two coating heads is to quickly replace the coating and coating roller.
Steering and support mechanism. Actually used
The steering and support mechanism is composed of steering roller, support roller and top idler. The steering roller turns the coil through 180 ℃ to make the coil input into the support roller at a proper angle; The supporting roll is coated on the front when the supporting roll is coated; The jacking roller is used for jacking the coil between the support roller and the back coating head. The coating amount on the back of the coil can be adjusted by adjusting the jacking distance through the adjusting mechanism. When the coil is stopped and the coil joint passes through, the coil is pushed away from the back coating roller with the help of the automatic adjusting device to protect the coating roller from damage.
Driving mode
The drive of roller coater is divided into collective drive and single roller drive. Collective drive means that all rotating rollers of the roller coater are driven by one motor, which is not easy to change the process technical parameters. Single roll drive is that each rotating roll is equipped with a special DC motor, which can arbitrarily change the rotation direction and speed, and it is easy to change the Roller coater process and technical parameters.
