Precautions for UV roller coater
1. Selection of blank. In particular, the thin substrate quality of MDF veneer is better, otherwise the surface temperature of UV coating will be high during UV curing, which will rob the wood veneer from MDF;
2. Control of light intensity. The light intensity of UV primer light curing machine does not need to be adjusted too strongly, but the light intensity of UV finish should be strong enough. The purpose of this method is to make the UV primer not fully cured. As long as the UV primer does not stick sandpaper during grinding, the UV finish can be applied. After sufficient light, it can continue to react with UV finishing to improve interlayer adhesion;
3. Selection of sandpaper. When polishing UV putty and UV primer, sandpaper labels shall be added successively, that is, the finer the polishing, the later. The purpose of polishing is to make the bottom surface of putty rough and improve the adhesion between layers. Add sandpaper labels to reduce sand marks and beautify the board surface;
4. Control of coating quantity. If the UV paint is applied too thick, the feel of the paint film will become worse, and the orange peel and rolling mark on the surface will be serious. At the same time, due to the insufficient illumination of the bottom layer, the maintenance is not complete, and the adhesion is reduced; If the coating is too thin, it will affect its fullness, gloss and corrosion resistance. Therefore, the coating amount must be controlled in the UV production line.
